정몽준 대표최고위원은 2010.3.23(화), 당사 6층 제2회의실에서 개최된 제1기 한나라 글로벌 인턴십 환영식에 참석했다. 그 주요내용에 대해 황천모 부대변인은 다음과 같이 전했다.

- Good morning. Welcome to Hannara Party. Congratulations on being elected to participated in Hannara global internship program. Today is the beginning of your global internship program of Hannara Party. Well, I'm very glad to meet you. I'm a little older than you. But in my heart, I feel we are all same. We are living in the same planet and we are living in the same time. So I want to tell you what how I understand the modern world as you may agree the world is getting smaller and smaller with the development of technology, technology of transportation and telecommunication. The whole world is really literally era of global village. The difference in race, culture, and living area does not mean that much as they used to in the past. We are living in a very interdependent world. Everybody can influence everybody. Everybody can learn from everybody regardless of the location of their living. If we agree in this kind of understanding of the changing of the world, I think participation in global appearance is not a matter of choice. If you can have the better cooperation among different country, among different people in the world, we can make this world at better place to living. I sincerely welcome all of you to Hannara global internship program. Doing this program, we hope you can learn about characteristic of Korean politics, what kind of party Hannara is, what kind of country korea is. And at the same time, we hope we can learn from you about your country, about your thinking, about your everything. So welcome to Hannara and I hope you enjoy your participation in Hannara global internship program. Thank you.
- 반갑다. 한나라당에 오신 것을 환영한다. 한나라당 글로벌 인턴십 프로그램 참가하게 된 것을 축하드린다. 오늘 한나라당 글로벌 인턴십 프로그램이 시작된다. 여러분을 만나서 매우 반갑다. 나는 여러분보다 약간 나이가 많다. 그러나 내 마음으로는 우리 모두가 같다고 생각한다. 우리는 같은 행성(지구)에 살고 있고 같은 시기에 살고 있다. 그래서 나는 내가 현대 세상에 대해 어떻게 이해하는가를 여러분에게 말하고 싶다. 기술과 교통, 통신수단의 발달로 세계는 점점 가까워지고 있다는 것에 대해 여러분들은 동의할지도 모른다. 전 세계는 정말 문자 그대로 지구촌시대이다. 인종, 문화, 사는 지역의 차이는 예전만큼 그렇게 많이 중요하지는 않다. 우리는 매우 상호 의존적인 세계에 살고 있다. 모든 사람들은 사는 지역과 관계없이 다른 모든 사람들에게 영향을 끼칠 수 있으며, 그들로부터 배울 수 있다. 우리가 이러한 세계 변화를 이해한다면, 나는 글로벌 시대의 참여가 선택의 문제가 아니라고 생각한다. 여러분들이 세계의 다른 국가, 다른 사람들 간에 더 나은 협력을 한다면 우리는 이 세상을 더욱 살기 좋은 곳으로 만들 수 있다. 나는 여러분 모두가 한나라 글로벌 인턴십 프로그램에 참여한 것을 진심으로 환영한다. 이 프로그램을 하면서 우리는 여러분들이 한국정치의 특징, 한나라당이 어떠한 당인지, 한국이 어떠한 나라인지 배울 수 있기를 희망한다. 그리고 동시에 우리는 여러분으로부터 여러분의 국가, 여러분의 생각 그리고 여러분의 모든 것을 배울 수 있기를 희망한다. 한나라당에 온 것을 환영하며 한나라 글로벌 인턴십 프로그램에 즐겁게 참여하기를 바란다. 감사하다.
